Day 10 - Liverpool Tour

Today was a day for a tour around Liverpool courtesy of Michael and Pam. We started at the "Western Approach" bunker that was used for command during the 2nd World War. A very interesting display including an impressive Operations Room. Then we caught the "ferry cross the Mersey" river and this included interesting commentary and some nice views of the city. This was followed by a visit to the famous Philharmonic Pub in central Liverpool. A magnificent structure. People even go in to the toilets with their cameras to take photos. The day was finished off with dinner at a local Italian restaurant Don Luigi's.
