Day 15 - An Isle Tour

Another magnificent day dawned on the Isle. A late rise was followed by at walk in to the Castletown centre and a tour around Rushen Castle in the town centre. Dating back centuries, it was an interesting tour with great views from the parapets. Then we strolled down to Phols place and he proceeded to take us around the TT course in his open top car. It really did bring home how dangerous tis race really is with a lot of the course being what I would describe as a country road back in NZ. We took some great shots of the course and video of "The Bunglaow" and "Creg Ny Baa" two famous spots on the course. Then it was off to lunch at Peel, a lovely coastal spot. more of. Tour around the south coast, then a pint or 2 at a Castletown local called "The Sidings" right beside the railway station. Another magnificent day ends.
