This time was spend visitjng rellies and vising Kirklees Light Railway (Doreen), Leeds (Heather and Ian), The National Railway Museum - York, Ponteland Near newcastle (Roy and Susan), Edinburgh (B&B), Rosslyn, Helensburgh (Jo and John) and Carlisle (Pauline and Richie).
Lots of good times were had and lots of photos were taken - a selection of which I will post here. We are still having a great time. The plan in the next few days is to head to Dublin (Guinness tour!!!) and then down to Sharons in Welwyn Garden City for the last bit of the trip. I will try to post an update this time next week.
We arrived just in time for the Queens Birthday 21 gun salute, the band's departure and the changing of the guard!

ReplyDeleteNice photo Adrian - shame it wasn't the night before when that very same table was awash with Black Sheep bottles - empties!! The JetPlanes and Pineapple Lumps are soooo nice. Thanks heaps for squeezing them into your suitcases :) Enjoyed seeing you both and swinging the lamp. Christie is still talking about Aly's mini-ipad. She is writing to Santa she tells us.
